All employees (including Independent Contractors, Maintenance and Service Personnel) are required to be familiar with the HIPAA regulations, and must sign Confidentiality Agreements to ensure that phone and person-to-person conversations maintain the confidentiality of PHI.

Employees are kept informed of current changes, updates and developments in privacy issues. Strict penalties and/or disciplinary action for violations are emphasized numerous times from the interview process through the final contract.
