NEMT earns Inc. 5000 spot -- again
Towards the end of 2011, NEMT was named to the Inc. 5000 for the fifth straight year.
Inc. magazine ranked NEMT number 2,322 on the list with a 3-year growth rate of 104 percent.
The company has grown from four employees in 2008 to 40 employees in 2011, in addition to more than 160 independent contractors.

NEMT earns 96.5 from KLAS
NEMT was awarded high marks for its services on Dec. 15 with the release of the “2011 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services” report ©.
In its first year included in the research, NEMT received an overall performance score of 96.5 out of 100.
NEMT also scored an 8.8 out of 9 in the “money’s worth” category.
When asked “would you buy from this vendor again?” 100 percent of NEMT’s clients said “yes,” according to KLAS Data.

Dressed as pirates wearing Santa hats, NEMT's Richmond contingent participated on Dec. 3 in the Arthritis Foundation's 2011 Jingle Bell Walk in Richmond, Va. This is NEMT's third year participating in the Richmond walk.

NEMT President Linda Allard featured at Arthritis Foundation fundraiser
NEMT President Linda Allard was one of three keynote speakers Dec. 1 at the Arthritis Foundation's Commitment to a Cure Fundraiser in Richmond, Va. Allard has been involved with arthritis fundraising and awareness for decades. As a small child, her son was diagnosed with a rare form of arthritis called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which significantly impacted his mobility and health from an early age.

NEMT President Linda Allard offers project management presentation at AHIMA
President Linda Allard again presented a seminar to a national audience recently. Allard was asked to be a featured presenter at the Product World Demonstration during the 83rd annual national AHIMA Convention & Exhibit in Salt Lake City on Oct. 2, 2011.
Her presentation, “One Step at a Time –Turning Giant Projects into Bite-Sized Tasks,” offered project management tips for busy administrators faced with large-scale projects.

NEMT joins BayScribe American Transcription Network
WOOLWICH, MAINE: The BayScribe American Transcription Network (BATN) got another big boost in November when New England Medical Transcription (NEMT) joined the BATN cooperative.
As one of the largest all-domestic transcription firms in the United States, NEMT was invited to join the co-op by Ron Neuenberger, CEO of BayScribe. The BATN cooperative unites American transcription firms that do not offshore their services.
